The title on verso and our comparison image nr.6 prove that we are dealing with one of executed in early 1920s by this artist portraits of his father, Vienna "Baurat" (chief architect) Ludwig Richter (1855-1925; see our image nr.10 with his biography; he was especially known for reconstruction of Vienna "Musikverein" 's building.
It is relatively rare on current antique market work of young Vienna artist of 1920s, Robert Ludwig Richter (1904 - late 1920s). For only found information about him (strongly influenced by his town-fellow Egon Schiele) see again our image nr.6.

Robert Ludwig Richter was a well-known Viennese painter and illustrator of the early 20th century who was strongly influenced by Egon Schiele. He was a member of the renownbed Wien Kunstgemeinschaft (Vienna Art Assocition).
