Martin Vigdor-Leibovich Kordonski was a well-known Jewish Soviet artist of the 20th century. He was born in 1913 in Odessa by the Black Sea. Until 1939, he studied at the Odessa Art College under Y.Bershadski and A.Shovkunenko. From 1947 the artist regularly participated in republican exhibitions. From 1947 and 1978 he worked at the Odessa Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, as well as Odessa Philharmonic and Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater as a theater stage designer.
