Even if already discounted! # 37775 Piotr Kolomoitsev (b.1924), "In the Carpathians", 1960s, Tempera 500 EUR - 25% DISCOUNT = 375,00 EUR Piotr (Petro) Michailovich Kolomoitsev was born in 1924 in Khrustalnyi (Krasny Luch) in the Luhansk Region of Ukraine. In 1937-1941 he studied painting at the Luhansk Art College and in 1941-45 took part in the WWII as a marine. In 1944 he came to Sevastopol in Crimea where he served in the navy until 1961 consecutively taking part in various art exhibitions. In 1961, after his retirement from the navy service, he began a professional career as decoration painter and restorer. Kolomoitsev was awarded with the state title of an "Honored Artist of Ukraine" and was a member of the Ukrainian Artist Union. He regularly took part in town, regional, republican and international (France, Japan, Germany etc.) exhibitions. He died in Sevastopol in 2013. jan12 Condition: In good condition, framed.
