(Value Added Tax) of the EU destination country will apply.) SOLD! Mme Louise Girard, nee Bathilde, was born in the late 18th century. As a young girl she married Regnault's pupil, Parisian engraver Francois Girard (1787-1870) and became his pupil and collaborator. Besides engraving she specialized in porcelain painting. At 1824 Salon de Paris she showed her porcelain paintings after Pierre Mignard and Francois Gérard. Otherwise, she was known, among others, through her miniature technique on porcelain portraits (sic!).
