(Value Added Tax) of the EU destination country will apply.) SOLD!!! Pierre Carrier-Belleuse (1851 Paris - 1932 ibidem) was a son of Albert Ernst Carrier-Belleuse. He was a pupil of his father as well as of Cabanel and Galland at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The artist began exhibiting in 1875, regularly showed his works in Parisian Salon. From 1885 he painted in oil only as an exception and dedicated himself almost completely to pastel. In this technique he developed great skills. Works of Carrier-Belleuse can be seen in museums of Paris, Versailles, Le Puy, La Rochelle, Dunkerque, Rheims, etc. His pastels achieve quite high prices at the art auctions of last years.
