Josef Danhauser was one of the most famous Austrian painters of the 19th century. Born in Vienna in 1805, he studied at the Vienna Academy and became a genre and portrait painter of high esteem. His works belong to collections of the greatest Austrian museums and museums abroad.

"Fraeulein Jeanette beim Patience" is a pencil drawing traditionally attributed to Josef Danhauser.

Condition: In good condition, one spot of foxing.
