Emil Ranzenhofer (1864 Vienna - 1930 Vienna) was a well-listed Viennese painter and etcher of the turn of the 20th century who was born in Vienna in 1864. He was a pupil of Christian Griepenkerl at the Vienna Academy and member of Austrian artists' association "Kunstlerbund". In 1914 he obtained a silver medal as an exponent.
