Jean-Baptiste Lallemand was born in 1710 (or 1716) in Dijon and died in 1803 (1805?) in Paris. From 1745 he studied at the Parisian Académie de St.-Luc. During his studies he visited England and Rome. Back home in 1761 he first went to Lyon then again to Paris where he exhibited a collection of works at his alma mater, Académie de St.-Luc in 1764.

Condition: fairly good; traces of dust underneath the glass; in original frame (had not been inspected out of the frame)
