Laurent A. Gruenbaum (ca.1760 Haslau by Eger - 1852 Haslau by Eger) was born around 1760 in Haslau by Eger into a Jewish family and died in the same Haslau in 1852. He worked in Vienna and exhibited in 1828 at the Academy there. For some time he worked in Duchy of Hessen for the Elector William II, in 1831 was active in Denmark. Together with Daffinger he was one of the most favorite portrait miniaturists of the Austrian high society.
