August Prinzhofer (1817 St.Veit an der Klan, Carinthia/Austria - 1885 Bad Steinerhof, Styria/Austria) was a well-known Austrian portrait painter. He studied at the Venice Academy and during 1844-1861 in Vienna. He lived and worked in Graz and today his works belong to collections of various Austrian museums.
