Johann Georg Paul Fischer (1786 Hanover - 1875 London) was son of an engraver and pupil of Heinrich Ramberg, and came to England in 1810. He worked chiefly in London and did numerous portraits of the English aristocracy including those of Queen Victoria and Queen Charlotte. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and Society of British Artists from 1817 to 1852.
