Domenico Garbi was a son of Italian artist Anton Maria Garbi. He was born long after his father's 1744 return from Rome to native Perugia. Various sources mention Domenico Garbi as a miniaturist and portraitist in oils, who worked in Perugia in the 2nd half of the 18th - early 19th century.
Provenance: private collection, France
Condition: fairly good; in 19th century easel-frame made of brass (based on the miniature's typical size (diameter of 6.5cm), it was probably inserted into lid of a box at an earlier date
