According to the lady's dress and hairstyle, this work was executed in the late 1690s. It is a portrait of one Henriette Leroy, wife of Pierre-Auguste Dide, banquier de la cour (a court banker). It was acquired together with our web #41921 (as both items stem from the same private estate, one could say with certainty that the surname of Henriette's husband was Dide de Moncy (old noble Normandy family)).
The author of this miniature portrait was with great likelihood one of the pupils of famous Parisian 17th-century portraitist Pierre Mignard (1612-1695; CLICK HERE).
