François Jaquemin (also Jacquemin) was born in ca. 1760 in Sauville, department Vosges, and died after 1791. He trained at the Academie royale of Toulouse with Professor Guillaume Cammas. He also won the Grand Prix at the academy. Jaquemin regularly exhibited in Toulouse between the years 1777 and 1791, mostly showing diverse portrait miniatures.
