Charles Henard (ca. 1757 Bourg-en-Bresse - ca. 1812) was a pupil of Taraval. He worked in France and England as a miniaturist; exhibited at the Londoner Royal Academy from 1785 to 1800 and at the Salon de Paris from 1791 to 1808. Schidlof writes about him: "Henard was a miniaturist of quality and originality".
