Offered here is a superior quality miniature portrait of Samuel Pepys (1633-1703; CLICK HERE and HERE) - English naval administrator and Member of Parliament, who was most famous for his diary. He kept it for a decade while still a young man. The author of this portrait was either English or Dutch artist (working alike many of his countryfellows in England).
