Extremely rare (there are known only two other (large scale) oil portraits and few prints) oil on copper miniature with portrait of the famous man from the period of Elizabeth I of England, Archbishop of Canterbury, Matthew Parker (1504-1575; archbishop - from 17 December 1559; see also our image nr.9).
Along its edges, it bears the Latin title: "ARCHIEPISCOPUS CANTUARIENSIS MATHEI PARKERI". It is a work of anonymous English (but possibly also Dutch or German, working then in England) artist.
